I have been too sick/busy/whatever to post for a while, and I don't want to drag it out into too many posts, so here's one big one encapsulating all that I have done since last post:
Got my new crown! And here ends the great tooth saga of 08/09. Hopefully. Isn't it lovely? You can't even tell it's a fake!
Took a trip to San Antonio and saw the Alamo. Don't worry, Phil, your magnet will be hand delivered! I was warned that it was a lot smaller than you would expect, but I thought it wasn't that small. There were a lot of tourists at the Alamo, and the rest of the city was totally empty. It was a very strange trip.
Got sick. Sorry, there are no photos to document this. I had a fever on and off for four days and now it's dwindled to sinus issues. I hate being sick, especially the third or fourth day when you start to feel a little better and go stir-crazy.
News for all you Iowa City folks: I will be coming home for a few days in December! I am bringing the new boyfriend, so I may not have the opportunity to see everyone I want to see, but please let me know if you would like to plan something. I am so excited to come home but also because it will be the boyfriends first visit to Iowa.
I think that's it... Oh, and Happy Halloween! That post will come soon...

You remembered the Alamo...refrigerator magnet! Now my Christmas will be wonderful. Thanks Liz, you're the best. I'm sorry you were sick. Glad you're feeling better. I'll bet watching that big screen TV helped you recover.
